Barça Academy Returns to India with All
New Autumn Camps in Six Cities

Barça Academy, the official academy of the world-renowned football club FC Barcelona, is back in India with a broader and more ambitious outreach. After a year-long pause, the Academy is set to host its Autumn Camps 2025 in six major Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

In partnership with SportsNTW, Barça Academy will conduct five-day intensive training camps for young Indian footballers. These camps offer a rare and prestigious opportunity to train under the guidance of official Barça Academy coaches and Technical Directors flown in directly from Barcelona.

The exact dates for the autumn camps in each city will be announced soon, with preparations already underway to make this initiative a pan-India grassroots movement. Speaking during the Barça Legends Match in Mumbai, Sergi Barjuan—former Barça captain, coach, and current Worldwide Sporting Director of Barça Academy—shared his excitement:

Barça is thrilled to be back in India, which is a strategically important market for us. We’re starting with camps in six cities, all conducted by certified Barça coaches and technical staff. Top-performing playersfrom these camps will be shortlisted for the Barça Academy World Cup 2026 in Barcelona.”

Also present at the event were SportsNTW co-founders Jatin Ahluwalia and Abhishek Saklani, who emphasized the partnership’s significance in shaping India’s football future.

“Our collaboration with Barça Academy marks a major step in grassroots football development in India. These six-city autumn camps are just the beginning,” said Jatin Ahluwalia.

“These camps will offer young Indian players a world-class platform to showcase their skills and learn the Barça Way. We urge parents and players to register early at india.barcaacademy.com,” added Abhishek Saklani.

The Barça Academy India Autumn Camp is seen as a transformative initiative aimed at boosting football’s popularity in the country while providing global exposure and elite training to the next generation of talent.

Barça Academy currently operates in over 50 countries, training more than 25,000 children every year and hosting nearly 200 international camps annually. The return of such an iconic institution to India is a testament to the nation’s growing interest and potential in football, backed by its vast youth population.
